in short - more than 30 people cramped up to Stanmore Bay to David's very pretty bachs on 12-13 August - we had the new, the not-so-new, the old, and the really-old.

it was a very diverse camp i must say with newbies, senior members, EBs, alumni + interns. the photos posted here are just tip of the ice berg of allllll the bonding and knowledge sharing/gaining that happened during the weekend.

LC Meeting 10th August 2006

Hey Guys!

Today we had another LC meeting!

It gave us a chance to come together to create some new taskforces to engage the 30 odd newbies entering into the LC this semester!

It was also the chance for us to introduce the prestigious RJ award! But more on this later when the wonderful recipient receives her award!

Thanks for all that attended, please fill out the feedback form and vote for what TFs we should implement!

Selection Update

Hey Everyone!

AIESEC Auckland has been keeping really really really busy with selection over these last few days!

What is selection you ask ...

... from this photo you may think that selection is the chance for potential members to start getting involved in crazy cult like behavior! But actually the real reason we are putting these potential members through a selection process is so that we have the opportunity to observe them and find out which ones are the most aligned with AIESEC (which in turn means they will get the most out of the organisation).

It's been an exciting process! Keep an eye out on the following faces ...

... because in less than a week we'll be welcoming a whole bunch of them into the AIESEC network!

But which ones will it be?? So exciting!! =p

Watch this space on Thursday for the results!

LC Dinner 3rd August 2006

Hey Everyone!

On Thursday we had our first LC Activity of the term! It was great opportunity to connect, chat and enjoy some good food!

It was also a great time to connect with our alumni, returned SNs and interns =) We'll definitely be trying to do these on a regular basis so that we can build up more opportunities for our stakeholders to interact with each other!

Keep an eye out on this space for more updates as they come =p Also take note of how we will gain weight over the term from all the AIESEC eating opportunities!
