ICX Bonding Event II
... Since no one's posted on it yet... I'll post! =D
ICX Team Bonding Event was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! well mainly because it wasn't so much an ICX thing... we had interns, alumni and even a CORPORATE =D So it was a blast of an LC event!
First event of the day was PAINTBALL! We started somewhere out West in Henderson/ Swanson at about 12pm.

It was great fun especially the huge bruises we sustained which are our trophies!
We still had great bright smiles on our faces even after the game =p
We headed off to lunch next (about 2pm), still somewhere out west, recommended by Ying.
We sat down at a nearby park to enjoy the sun grass and... oh yes the food! =p

After food, we chilled out a little and Ladi told us about this interesting fact.
There were about 16 of us, and among us we represented more than 8 countries.
And the sound that the people of each country makes of an animal can sound pretty different.
For instance - dog - for the kiwis it was "WOOF!"
So the Singaporeans it was "ROUUFFF!"
It was especially funny when the kiwi reps Andrea & Ying + Singaporeans Genevieve & I made the same sounds in unison!
Ok... it doesn't sound that fun when I'm writing it... sorry =p
Not too long after lunch settled, 2 balls emerged. Oh what I meant was Levent bought a football and Johnny brought his touch rugby ball, and we had a ball of a time.
We had 2 balls in play at any one time, and hell it was dangerous! Not only just looking out for the ball that might be heading in your direction but also because it went out of play and onto the busy street so often!
Seriously! Someone would have gotten killed if not for our superhuman skills at looking out for cars coming round the bend & dodging balls =p =p
At about 4ish, Ying took half of us to a nearby little shop that sold really cheap and yummy sundaes! We had our fill there and headed back to the group at the grass at 6.
By then, it was getting a little chilly, and people were tired... so we decided to head home...
It was a fun-filled enjoyable day.
To the people who missed out, don't worry, I guarantee another ICX team bonding event next year =p
To the people who went - thanks for making it such an awesome event!
To my ICX team - YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
To Levent - thanks so much for organising and making it happen =)
Cheers,
Edris
