January Forum
On January 19th and 20th of 2007 several Aucklanders gathered together in Wellington to attend January Forum.
I've attended quite a few Jan Forums throughout my time in AIESEC and this was without doubt the best one I'd attended. Members throughout the organisation were challenged to understand the organisation and their places within it, as well as being challenged to step up to influence the direction of AIESEC in the coming years.
Sessions included discussions on Recruitment/Selection/Induction strategies, training on how to delegate and also on how to speak in public.
On top of this it was a great opportunity for members of the Auckland LC to bond and spend time with each other over magnificent food (We love the OC! We do!).
I already miss hanging out with all the other Aucklanders *sniffle*
